Conduct a Book Drive to Benefit Students in Need



Participating in our Books From The Heart® Book Drive program is a great way to provide children in under-resourced areas with resources that will help them read, succeed, and make a difference. 
Book Drive Option 1: Collect new, excellent quality books for an elementary school that has registered with The Heart of America Foundation to receive books.

Book Drive Option 2: Collect new, excellent quality books for an elementary school that is in your local community.


Who Are Our Recipient Sites?


Book drives benefit schools that are in need of books for their students. Typically, these drives focus on serving elementary schools with 50% or more of their student population eligible for free and reduced meals. 

Schools from across the U.S. have reached out to us in their search for books; by conducting a book drive you can help us provide essential resources to these students. If you would prefer to serve a school in a city not on our list we can match you to a school in need in your area.


Who Are Our Book Drive Hosts?


 Individuals or groups seeking to provide books and spread the joy of reading.



Drives can last from one week to several months. We will work with you to determine the best timing for your drive.
