Nearly 700,000 families had their homes damaged or destroyed by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. More than 2 million people were displaced by these storms.

Hundreds of school libraries and classrooms were damaged or destroyed leaving students without the basic tools they need to learn and grow. Help put books back into the school, classroom and home libraries of these students.

If we act together, there is nothing we can not accomplish. This is the heart of America: Everyone matters. Everyone can contribute. Everyone can do something to make things better for those in need. Join us in our continuing effort to give children in these affected areas the tools they need to read, succeed and make a difference!
