HOAs Power Ride

Our friend and staff member Mylo Fowler is documenting their bike ride through three states in Southwest America.

The goal? Raise funds and awareness around the work to bring sustainable power and light to the Navajo Nation. This is helping students have access to stable power — sometimes just a reading light is all that's needed — in order to make the most out of their out-of-school time.

Read more, invest in the work: It's all here for you to follow the ride!

Powering Indigenous people's Homes

An estimated 14% of homes in the Navajo Nation are without reliable access to power. Without access to electricity, families across large areas of Utah and Arizona are unable to safely power devices, refrigerate food, or sustain light after dark and in early morning hours.

Heart of America has provided solar lanterns to 10,000 students and installed power in over 75 homes. This work is made possible through generous sponsors, individual donors, and volunteers. Donate to help us do even more!

This ride is all about bringing sustainable power to the Navajo Nation. But kids deserve to have their own bike to enjoy, too. Every dollar donated will fund the Power Ride and get bikes on the road. Click below to donate now!
