Literature inspires young minds, and we’ve proudly provided more than 4.4 million books to students nationwide. Our selection process is driven by a deep understanding of the communities we serve, focusing on delivering culturally relevant, grade-appropriate books. Our hope is that each student may see themselves in a story!

Equipping students for success

Since 1997, we’ve proudly provided more than 370,000 different school supplies to students across the country. Access to quality school supplies ensures students have the tools they need to excel in the classroom and beyond! In our evolving educational landscape, these supplies are also essential for success, especially when learning continues at home.

All across America

Baltimore Library Project

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Baltimore City library services team and HOA employees, we provided over 4,000 library books and 500 e-books to the library. This project also included over 1,500 student take-home books and 500 resource packs, helping make the most of out-of-school time.

Baltimore mayor’s office back-to-school fair

We helped fill 4,000 backpacks during this back-to-school event! HOA supported the fair by rallying approximately 40 city employees who volunteered to fill these backpacks. This project is all about our dedication to equipping students with what they need to succeed while also bringing a community together.

Washington football team back to school fair

This annual event — which also provides services such as haircuts and dental care — HOA staffed the Book Nook. Here, students could choose grade-appropriate books to take home from themselves. We distributed 1,000 books, empowering young readers to continue their literary journey.
