We help employers engage employees
Last year, we engaged over 2,500 volunteers for a total of 9,170 total hours — proof that when people come together, amazing things happen!
For us, volunteering isn’t just a way to get stuff done (although we get a lot done), nor is it simply a way to uplift people with a common purpose (although this is certainly also true). Volunteering is a method of improving quality of life on a large scale, a collective act of kindness that radiates goodwill, touching all those involved. And at the end of it all, neighborhoods and livelihoods are better cared for and better equipped for success.

Let us introduce ourselves
Heart of America’s resource distributions
Our commitment to education extends beyond the classroom. Providing students with essential resources is the key to a brighter future! Over our 28 year history, we’ve distributed over 4.4 million books and countless supplies like pencils and markers. Our work also brings solar power to the Navajo Nation to help families make the most of their out-of-school time.
Meet Martine
Martine is a recent HOA volunteer on a 3M project, and we stopped to chat with her about her experience. Her energy is contagious. With a long list of to-dos and a diligent group of people ready to go, she has a way of setting the energy high for everyone. She has good things to say about HOA, too.
“I’m really impressed with Heart of America. I don’t know why we can’t fund schools with the money they need to thrive, which makes your work so important. What you do is very cool.”
