Denver Area Youth Services launches Mobile Wellness RV to expand mental health outreach in collaboration with Heart of America and the Denver Broncos
Earlier this season, Denver Area Youth Services (DAYS) revealed their first Mobile Wellness RV. Designed and created by Heart of America and sponsored by the Broncos Foundation, the launch of the new vehicle was celebrated May 29 at Abraham Lincoln High School to mark the closing of Mental Health Awareness Month.

For more than 40 years, DAYS has provided essential social services to families across Denver. The new RV is poised to extend the organization’s reach by delivering crucial mental health services directly to local youth. The van will play an important role in cases where schools do not have a dedicated space for private consultations and conversations.

The team at Heart of America, recognized for their expertise in crafting wellness spaces, remarked that the project presented unique challenges. The project required a blend of functionality and comfort—a serene, spa-like atmosphere that maintained privacy while maximizing natural light, all in a very small space. By integrating natural design elements, warm finishes, and home-like furnishings, the final design was a success, achieving an inviting and peaceful environment for clients.
Several Broncos representatives joined volunteers at May’s event to celebrate the launch, assisting in the assembly of additional resource kits. The kits contained items to help tackle anxiety, such as workbooks, journals, and coloring pencils. Sensory stress relief tools such as fidget spinners and push-pop balls were also included.
“Transforming a mobile van into a wellness space was a significant achievement,” says Jill Hardy Heath, CEO of Heart of America, “And we are so excited Denver Area Youth Services will have this vehicle for future wellness initiatives. Our partnership with the DAYS team and the Broncos Foundation has been a huge success, and we’re eagerly awaiting stories of the RV in action!”
