Heart of America has always, and will continue, to focus our work on the needs of students. They are the reason HOA exists and the reason we do what we do. This will never change.

The challenges that schools face are complex, and we’ve worked since 1997 to transform education spaces from unworkable to inspiring. It’s a ripple effect: It starts with the physical space and access to resources, which sets the tone for learning and influences students, teachers, administration, parents, funders, and beyond. We have to stay the course and fulfill our mission.

Things are changing fast, and the looming challenges that will impact our beneficiaries are vast. Schools and educators should not be in this situation where the unknowns of policy and funding changes distract them from ensuring their students get the best education possible.

Our commitment to our mission is unwavering. We are determined to continue to support students and teachers by designing community-focused solutions co-created with the people who know their students’ unique needs. We know that now, more than ever, our communities need organizations like ours to help provide students an education that unlocks imaginative, dynamic, and creative futures for generations to come.

Administrators, teachers, students, parents, and communities: We will always have your back. In fact, we are more energized and determined than ever before.

We are in this together.
